Anne-Liz Deba, 22, was the victim of school bullying for seven years during her schooling. All with great indifference.
At 22, Anne-Liz Deba made school bullying her fight. Behind her smile, she hid for seven years what she suffered from the moment she entered 6th grade in a Parisian establishment. “I was one of the only ones who liked to come, work, participate in class“, she says. Over the months, she says she received “little words” on her table, insults. At the end of 6th grade, she spoke about it to her mother. The latter went to the administration, who did not react. In 5th grade, the violence escalated a notch.
From beatings to mutilations
“One day I came out of class, I received a slap, two slaps, three slaps, and repeated blows for about fifteen minutes., she remembers. She complains to a supervisor, who tells her that “it’s nothing“.”All the times I spoke about it, people didn’t listen to me, they didn’t believe me“, she laments.
She then begins to mutilate herself, with a compass then a knife. Only his French teacher will reach out to him. Anne-Liz was subsequently harassed on social networks, receiving in particular “threats of inciting suicide“.
