Known for her joie de vivre and her attentiveness to her guests in “It begins today”, Faustine Bollaert knows how to put them at ease. So much so that his guests have no difficulty in indulging in unfiltered stories that are sometimes dramatic and sad. A real “lesson of life” for Faustine Bollaert who considers that these meetings “raise” her. “My guests give me life lessons every day, on my ability to question myself, to move forward in areas that I did not know at all”, she said on Europe 1 last January before concluding: ” Today, I find life much more nuanced “.
Like her guests, Faustine Bollaert also experienced difficult times. In 2008, in the columns of the magazine “Maximal”, the TV host recounted having lived a night of horror. If she did not specify when this story happened, there is no doubt that Faustine Bollaert was marked. Already assaulted several times in the past, Faustine Bollaert indicated that it was particularly traumatic. And for good reason, his attacker had a firearm. “A guy had held me up at the bottom of my building with a gun. The cops took me with them all sirens outside, to nab him”, explained the host of “La Boite à Secrets”.
Thanks to the responsiveness of the police, Faustine Bollaert was able to identify her attacker. “I found myself at 5 am behind a two-way window to recognize the suspects,” she detailed, without specifying whether the latter was convicted.
During this same interview, Faustine Bollaert had revealed another astonishing story in connection with the police! This time she was the delinquent. I happened to steal something from a store and I got caught. They did not call the police, but it was still a shame, “she said.
