A week after the floods which devastated their city, the inhabitantss of Derna demands that the Libyan authorities be held accountable. “No one heard the voices of the people, we only saw soldiers. The demands of the population are not heard by our politicians, who are criminals. They want to harm us. This is why we demonstrate“, testifies a man.

Some have lost everything

The inventory will be simple: all his memories have disappeared. It was dark that day when a torrent of water rushed in. “It was very sudden. Around 1:30 a.m., I heard people screaming in the street.
