I am on disability, I can no longer work”, explains the mother. Emilie was a brilliant student. She was 17 when she ended her life, after an ordeal that lasted two years in the private college where she attended.

Abandonment of the establishment

After his death, Virginie felt abandoned by the educational community. “No response from the rectorate, nor from the diocese, nor from the establishment (…) I felt anger close to hatred for quite a while.” She decided to publish a book based on the writings in which her daughter confided her suffering.
