The Cameroonian community organizes a white march this Saturday, December 18 at 4:00 p.m. departing from 54 cours de l’Yser in Bordeaux towards rue Jules Guesde, in homage to Hervé Nyam, killed by stabbing three years ago during an evening in a Bordeaux bar in the Capucins district . The victim then aged 28-year-old was trying to separate a man who abused a woman.

A fight would have broken out subsequently, Hervé Nyam was stabbed the left flank at the level of the heart. This young man then died outside the bar. According to the victim’s ex-concubine, his friends would have fled, leaving him for dead until help arrived several hours later.

Hervé Nyam is greatly regretted by the entire Cameroonian diaspora who describes him as a man of great kindness.

The investigation is ongoing

The alleged murderer is said to be a man of Guinean origin who fled to Spain after the murder. A run of almost a year before being intercepted by the police and extradited to France. According to the President of the Cameroonian diaspora of Bordeaux Pierre Abega, the alleged perpetrator would have quickly confessed.

Two other people are implicated, one for murder, the other for complicity in murder. The investigation is continuing pending the opening of a trial.
