This celebration took place according to the sanitary measures in force at the time with people who were doubly vaccinated. This demonstrates the virulence of the virus.

“Due to the epidemiological situation affecting the Granit Health and Social Services Center (CSSS), we must proceed with the complete closure of the obstetrics unit,” announced the establishment.

These interruptions are in effect until Monday, December 20 at 4 p.m.

“Special measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of care for users, including emergency cesarean section,” said the CIUSSS.

A reassessment of the situation is scheduled for Monday, December 20.
