Jean-Luc Reichmann has more than one string to his bow. Flagship host of TF1, theater actor, main actor of the series Leo Mattei but also a comedian, producer and imitator… One thing is certain, the 62-year-old man is not stopping! So, it is quite natural that the latter recently rejoiced that his children did not follow in his footsteps.
During an interview given to Paris Match an extract of which was revealed on Instagram on Sunday September 10, 2023, the presenter of Twelve strokes of noon indeed indicated that his children were not interested in acting.
“We don’t have one child out of the six who is interested in being in comedy. There is the last one, we are still asking ourselves the question, I must admit, but the first five, they are saved. They are out of the woods, they are not at all in this world of TV nor in production for the moment, not at all in comedy”he said before heaving a sigh of relief at the idea that his offspring are sailing towards other horizons: “Phew. No but because it’s 22 hours a day ma’am. And what do you do for two hours? You’re thinking”justified Jean-Luc Reichmann.
“When you work 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the radio for years, you have to get up at 4:37 a.m. every morning. Afterwards, you continue on TV. Afterwards, you continue on fiction, then in the theater… There is no a lot of time eh! I’m very very happy that they are balanced”, he concluded, quite proud of his 6 children aged 13 to 31.

As proof, all Internet users wanted to remind the 62-year-old host of how lucky he was to have such an opportunity: “I like Reichmann and his good humor but the artists who complain about their work with the salary they receive sincerely tire me”, “22 hours a day… A thought for the artists who are starving so that Mr. Reichmann can work so much only to end up saying that it’s so horrible that he wouldn’t wish that for his children”, “How many people are there who get up at 4 a.m. and who certainly shouldn’t earn the same salary than him?
