(Montreal) Minister of the Environment Benoit Charette announces the creation of a committee of experts who will advise the government on adaptation to climate change.
Pressed by municipalities who are demanding more funds, Quebec’s Minister of the Environment indicated Monday morning on social networks that he is mandating “a group of experts to advise the government on adaptation to climate change.”
He specified that “the opinion which will be submitted will allow the specialized team of the ministry to define an action strategy which will improve the elements already present in the EPI”, in reference to the Plan for a green economy.
