(Foxborough) Tom Brady came out of the tunnel again in front of a screaming New England crowd on Sunday, returning to where he established himself as one of the NFL’s greatest players. He wanted to thank Patriots fans for “another day in this stadium that I will never forget.”
With six Super Bowl trophies won with the Pats, Brady took to the stage halfway through the game against the Philadelphia Eagles and proclaimed himself “a Patriot for life.”
“23 years ago, no one would have imagined this course would bring us here today,” said Brady, a sixth-round pick in the 2000 draft.
Brady has won six NFL Most Valuable Player titles and five Super Bowl Most Valuable Player titles, leading the Patriots to 17 Division titles in 19 seasons.
“All our lives take us on different paths,” said the former star quarterback. They bring different people into our lives. However, one thing I know for sure and will never change is that I am a Patriot for life. »
Patriots owner Robert Kraft has announced the team will waive the four-year waiting period and induct Brady into the team’s Hall of Fame next summer.
