- Stops concerned in Châteauroux: Bus station, Prefecture, Croix Perrine, the various high schools and the agricultural high school
- Stops concerned in Villedieu-Sur-Indre: Mehun center, Golf, Villedieu center, Chambon, Le Poyou
- Intra Villedieu journeys
It is therefore a question of using the existing routes with a dense network underlines the city council (there are up to 11 round trips per day)
A first in the region
The mechanism is simple, at the end of the year, the Center Val-de-Loire region will invoice the cost of all passenger tickets (three euros per ticket) to the municipality. The mayor of Villedieu-Sur-Indre believes that it will come back at a cost between 25,000 to 40,000 euros for the municipality.
In addition to its ecological aspect, the mayor defends a important social and economic aspect: promote the budget of employees and help them to travel between home and work, allow access to leisure activities for the youngest and lastly make young adults and the elderly who do not or no longer drive more independent.
The project will be deliberate and voted this Friday, December 17, 2021 in the municipal council.
