Drug trafficking | Series of searches in Longueuil

(Longueuil) Multiple simultaneous searches against a major drug trafficking network, mainly cocaine and crack, were carried out early Thursday by agents from the Service de police de l’Agglomération de Longueuil (SPAL) on the territory they patrol.

These searches follow a first series of operations of the kind carried out on November 18 during the Maquereau project.

The SPAL’s Organized Crime Section (LCO) again raided this same group and affirms that it has thereby curbed the activities of this narcotics distribution network with multiple ramifications.

Around 8 a.m. Thursday, seven places had been searched. The SPAL did not yet report any arrests.

On November 18, two firearms and a large quantity of narcotics were seized.
