“Will you take back some magic for Christmas?” is the title of this novel that we imagine very joyful at first glance. However, the main character is not really the one you immediately think of when you think of “Christmas comedy”.
Victoria Delmas, 35, runs an advertising agency with an iron fist. She leaves no room in her daily life for joy, improvisation or even meetings. In short, she is not very pleasant with her, nor with others.
One morning in December, his life changed. She is hit by a bus, dark in a coma, and arrives in a Christmas rehabilitation center. A mysterious organization that offers her a market: to be granted a second chance, she will have to redeem herself from all the people she has made suffer, before December 26, otherwise Victoria will remain in a coma. And given the character of the person … the mission will give him a hard time!
“Will you get some magic back for Christmas?” changes from the usual comedies. It’s funny, but also very fair, with a message of kindness and benevolence that particularly stands out.
