Wednesday, December 15, a mobilization of legal actors is planned. The latter ask for more resources. Natacha Aubeneau, national secretary of the Union Syndicale des Magistrates (USM) is invited on the set of 11 p.m. to testify to the working conditions of his colleagues.

Natacha Aubeneau explains that in all French jurisdictions, the conditions are tough. Files are piling up, hearings end late. This multiplication of cases makes it impossible to listen to the parties. She adds that magistrates are forced to work in their free time: evenings, holidays, weekends …Natacha Aubeneau specifies that it has almost become an obligation to work more so as not to fall too late.

For Natacha Aubeneau, all this is “wearing”. She explains that most of her colleagues entered this profession with an ideal, then consider that once integrated in this profession, “it’s a steamroller“. Like the hospital staff, Natacha Aubeneau believes, she and her colleagues, to be in “mistreatment situation“. She explains that the working conditions create a form of mistreatment for litigants.
