Chevrolet presented last week the new vintage of its midsize SUV Traverse, a redesign that will try to make it more attractive in a highly competitive segment.
Without revolutionizing the recipe for family purposes, this Traverse receives a slight dose of character with a more protruding grille and a more angular face.
The previous 3.6L V6 gives way to a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder whose power is increased to 315 hp and torque to 317 lb-ft. It sends its torque to the ground through an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. Its maximum towing capacity is set at 2268 kg, just like that of the one it replaces.
For outdoor enthusiasts, a new Z71 version is making its debut with optimized all-wheel drive in parallel with a ground clearance increased by 25 mm and shock absorbers specific to this livery. Off-road lean tires are also part of the hardware.
The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse will go on sale in early 2024.
