discovering the Kungsleden, the queen of hikes

Over more than 400 kilometres, the Kungsleden, the queen of hikes, crosses Swedish Lapland from one end to the other. It is one of the longest treks in the world, it is also one of the most beautiful. It all starts with a corridor that gives walkers the measure of the challenge that awaits them. The hike begins along a canyon. Impossible to get lost, the path is marked with red crosses. The trail was created at the beginning of the 20th century to reach the most remote places in Lapland.

After only a few kilometers of walking, the first eternal snow appears. It is also the first place of the course dedicated to meditation, with a motto inscribed on a rock: “The longest journey is the inner journey”. On the way, you can come across waterfalls. At this latitude, the sun does not set in summer.
