(Montreal) A man in his forties was found dead on Monday evening in a park in Plateau-Mont-Royal. The victim was stabbed in the upper body, according to initial reports.
This is the 15e murder to occur this year on the territory of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), indicates public relations officer Jeanne Drouin.
The police intervened shortly after 10:45 p.m. in connection with an injured man in a park in Plateau-Mont-Royal, near avenue de Gaspé.
The 42-year-old victim was lying on the ground with serious injuries. His death was pronounced on the spot.
There are no reported arrests in this case.
