At 60, Élise Lucet is now one of the most renowned and respected journalists in the country. Known for her pugnacity and rigorous investigative workthe one who was born in Rouen in 1963 is at the helm of two investigative programs broadcast on France Télévisions, namely “Envoyé Spécial” since 2016 and “Complément d’Enquête” since 2012.
Mother of a daughter named Rose born in February 2007, Élise Lucet remains rather discreet about her private life. But in an interview given to France TV Slash on July 19, the journalist confided in her adolescence spent in Normandy. “I was internally in revolt, I didn’t like the adult world, and I especially didn’t like the way they were trying to fit me into a frame. This interview was also theOpportunity for Élise Lucet to evoke the ravages of drugs about the generation she grew up in. “There was a lot of coke, amphetamines and glue. And it was a horror for five-six years because it broke the neurons. I had a brilliant friend who over the years […] was much less” she confided.
Already very responsible at the time, the mother of the family wanted to be very protective of her friends. “It was quite a suicidal generation. Friends died. I was there too in revolt because at that time the dope was the norm. And so I was out of the ordinary because I spent my time telling my friends don’t touch this sh*t!”.
