Oscar-winning American actor Jamie Foxx, still convalescing after being hospitalized in April, said he was “back from hell” in a video posted on Instagram overnight from Friday to Saturday, his first public speaking since his health problem.

“Some said I had gone blind, but as you can see my eyes are working perfectly”joked the comedian, squinting with one eye, in response to speculation about his condition. “But I’ve been through hell and back, and my recovery hasn’t been free of obstacles either,” he confides, thanking both his fans for their support and his family for his discretion.
