Jane Birkin passed away this Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the age of 76. The lifeless body of the artist was found at his Parisian home by his carer, as we learned from theAFP. Since his disappearance, the tributes are linked and will probably not stop, even after his funeral scheduled for Monday July 24 at 10 a.m. in the Saint-Roch church, in the 1er district of the capital, in the strictest family and friendly intimacy.

On July 17, the two sisters indeed wished to greet “the fierce battle against the disease” led by their mother since her stroke in September 2021, in a statement sent to theAFP.“For a few days, she had been walking again, was motivated to reschedule her Olympia and had decided to regain her independence. Vincent Perrot will never forget Jane Birkin, and neither will his baccalaureate!
A tribute that a famous radio presenter, close to Jane Birkin and inconsolable since his disappearance: Vincent Perrot. This Friday, July 21, he wanted to tell a touching anecdote during his time on the show “It’s going to make stories” on RTL.
“I had the idea, from the height of my 17 years, to go interview Jane in Paris. And the famous press attaché, still in activity, Dominique Segall, surely moved by my little youthful voice, agreed to make me meet MY star!” he remembered at the microphone of Jean-Michel Zecca. “A date was taken for a 30-minute meeting in Paris one-on-one with Jane. So the baccalaureate or Jane’s interview?”confides Vincent Perrot who admits that he did not hesitate for long: “I finally went to join Jane in Paris who was welcoming, delicious, adorable, bubbly and funny!”
If the host reveals “not to have had the baccalaureate”he still managed to win “two things” : “a radio engagement contract thanks to this exclusive interview, plus, and that was even better, Jane’s friendship which often renewed her confidence in me”. “And I must admit that since July 16… excuse me (he bursts into tears, editor’s note) I miss her a lot”, he adds overwhelmed with emotion.
