They finally have a clear deadline. The ministers of the new Borne II government are expected at the Elysée on Friday at 10 a.m., the Presidency of the Republic announced on Thursday July 20. The first Council of Ministers of this new government team will, as usual, be chaired by Emmanuel Macron.

The President of the Republic must officially speak before Sunday. Emmanuel Macron will take stock of the “100 days of appeasement”. The President of the Republic will then take off for an official trip to New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.

In front of the parliamentarians of the majority, the president set Wednesday the roadmap for the start of the school year to be rolled out with “boldness”, “innovation” and a line “gatherer” : “innovate” to respond to the riots, “inventing an ecology of progress and solutions” and seize the explosive subject of immigration so as not to let “the extremes feed”.
