A public reception center dedicated to Prehistory
The Prehistory Interpretation Center is a 3,000 m2 reception structure. This building, dedicated to serving all audiences, revolves around three main areas: information, understanding, learning. Located in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, in the heart of the Vézère valley, rich in 400,000 years of human occupation, it is an entry key, complementary to its neighbor, the National Museum of Prehistory, for the discovery prehistoric sites

Free creative workshops are offered during the Christmas holidays, the opportunity to discover the richness of the collections of the media library of the Prehistory Interpretation Center, a considerable image bank conducive to the discovery of prehistoric animals (books, comics, computer ). Claire Peyre responsible for the media library tells us about this mine of information, open to all. Ideal as a teaching aid and a pretext for creation. Come and participate as a family in the workshop to create animals and pine cone figurines for Christmas. Come and decorate the tree on Wednesday December 15 at 3 p.m.
