Danakil in concert at Rocher de Palmer in Cenon

Renowned for their incredible scenic energy, the Bordeaux group Danakil is back with a new album with messages that are as militant and committed as ever!

Jah Rastafari!

After 20 years of traveling the roads of the world to broadcast his music to the headlines of the biggest festivals of the genre, the Bordeaux group Danakil has established itself today as one of the pillars of the French reggae scene. Concerned about their artistic independence, the musicians of the group also founded their own production company, BacoRecords, and built their own recording studio in the heart of downtown Bordeaux.

Nothing is silent

Drawing on his musical roots to compose his powerful sounds, Danakil offered us this fall a new album, the 11th, entitled “Rien ne se tait” and which brings together thirteen new roots-reggae new generation songs, synthesizing Jamaican roots and the language of Molière. Brass and other percussions punctuate at each concert the percussive words of Balik, the singer of the group surrounded by his ten supercharged acolytes. At Rocher de Palmer de Cenon, Friday December 17, 2021 at 8:30 p.m. With Cheeko & Volodia in the first part. Full price: 25 €. Subscriber price: € 22. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
