And eight for Max Verstappen. The Dutch driver once again flew over the competition at the Silverstone Grand Prix on Sunday July 9. Starting from pole position, the untouchable leader of the world championship signed an eighth success in ten races, his 43rd in total in Formula 1. The Red Bull driver finished ahead of the two Britons Lando Norris (McLaren) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) , who could not snatch the victory at home. Note the poor performance of the two Frenchmen from Alpine, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, both forced to retire during the race.
