(Calgary) Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Calgary on Saturday for a second day of the Stampede and is taking part in two morning events.
His first scheduled stop is an event with the Ismaili Muslim community.
Later in the morning, Mr. Trudeau will attend a Stampede breakfast hosted by George Chahal, Liberal MP for Calgary Skyview.
On Friday, Mr. Trudeau visited the Stampede site, greeting festival-goers and stopping at a few local stands.
The visit came after a meeting with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, during which the two discussed plans to cut emissions and strike BC port workers.
Meanwhile, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre is also in Calgary and is due to speak at a party barbecue in the evening.
