Gun trafficking | A gang member cornered by a double agent

An individual allegedly linked to street gangs of red allegiance, whom investigators from the Montreal City Police Department have had their eye on in the past, was charged with trafficking firearms on Tuesday at the Montreal courthouse.


Jordy Milius, 30, a resident of the Rivière-des-Prairies district, was arrested by investigators from the Multisectoral Team Dedicated to Firearms in the Northeast Region of the SPVM on Monday, along with another man and ‘a woman.

He was charged with trafficking in a firearm, specifically a Girsan 9mm pistol, having the same firearm in his possession, occupying a vehicle knowing that a Glock pistol and ammunition was there and for breaking an order prohibiting him from possessing a firearm.

According to our information, Milius allegedly sold a firearm to an SPVM double agent.

His two co-defendants are Renoldson Vil, 30, and Florcy Bien-Aimé, 33.

Vil is charged with trafficking a firearm, occupying a vehicle knowing that a 9mm Glock and ammunition were there and possessing a prohibited firearm, while Bien-Aimé faces to one count of possession of a prohibited firearm.

The man and the woman live at the same address in the borough of Anjou.

The alleged acts occurred around April 26 and July 3.

Intriguing picture

Considered by the police to be a member of a gang of red allegiance, Milius allegedly, according to police sources, gravitated around Unit 44, a defunct gang involved in violent crimes targeting individuals linked to the mafia in the early 2010s.

On September 21, 2016, a citizen saw Milius and another gang-related individual, Jeff Joubens Theus, unscrew the license plate from the Honda Accord belonging to Milius, and called the police.

When they arrived at the scene, they arrested the two men and found a gun in the car.

On Milius, in the latter’s wallet, they also discovered the photo of a cocaine importer living nearby and that of another individual linked to the mafia.

Milius was charged with possession of a weapon in connection with this case, but was later granted a stay of proceedings.

Jordy Milius has multiple criminal backgrounds.

He has an active drug trafficking case.

In 2013, he was sentenced to six months in prison for drug trafficking and notably received a 15-day sentence for a case that occurred in 2016.
