Body camera video released by the sheriff of Candler County, Georgia (USA) shows the moment a police officer rushes to save a woman from a burning car.
Sergeant Ashleigh Taylor was traveling to the scene of an accident near Highway 46 on Saturday when he saw the burning car in the woods. He then broke one of the windows of the vehicle in order to extricate the driver.
“Thanks to the quick actions of Sergeant Taylor, the driver was able to be saved from a dangerous situation before it escalated,” Sheriff John Miles said on Instagram. We would also like to thank the many motorists who stopped to help. »
