The two twins kidnapped Tuesday evening by their mother in Montreal were finally found a few hours later in the Saint-Alexis sector, in the Lanaudière region.
The 50-year-old woman had left driving her vehicle with her two children around 3:30 p.m. An AMBER alert had been triggered a few hours later by the authorities in order to find her.
The trio was finally located not far from Saint-Alexis, in the Lanaudière region, around 9 p.m. They are doing well, said the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
