The next few hours promise to be crucial, Saturday June 24, after the rebellion of the leader of the militia Wagner. The fighters advance towards the capital, while Vladimir Putin has promised that traitors will be punished.

On the outskirts of the Russian Parliament, near Red Square, police and soldiers are on duty, Saturday, June 24. All around Moscow (Russia), checkpoints have been set up, because the Russians fear an imminent attack by the Wagner militia. It all started on the evening of June 23, after the publication of a video by a sympathizer of the Wagner group. We see a partly destroyed forest, and corpses of soldiers who belong to the militia.

The Wagner militia is advancing fast

It is not known when and where the images were shot. But for their leader, Yevgeni Prigojine, it was the Russian army that bombarded these fighters behind the Ukrainian front. He immediately called for an uprising against Moscow. If anyone gets in our way, we’ll destroy everything“, he assured. The Russian power denies having carried out these strikes. Putin then addressed the nation, calling this rebellion “treason“. The militia, which is advancing rapidly, would be no more than 400 km from Moscow.
