Four of the seven people arrested for the attack on the mayor of Toulouse Jean-Luc Moudenc were remanded in custody on Friday, reports France Bleu Occitanie. These seven people are suspected of having assaulted several elected officials during the evening of the Fête de la Musique, Wednesday in Toulouse.

After 48 hours in police custody, two people were released without prosecution. A minor was brought before the Montauban court, being from Tarn-et-Garonne.
The other four people, who have been placed in pre-trial detention, will be tried on Monday in an immediate appearance in Toulouse. One of them faces up to five years in prison for violence against persons holding public authority, while the other three face up to two years for insulting persons holding public authority.
