The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) made six arrests following threats against high schools in Montreal.
The Cavelier-De LaSalle school opened its doors Monday morning under police surveillance. The students were greeted by patrollers stationed on the outskirts of the school.
On Friday, threatening remarks targeting the school had circulated on social networks. Over the weekend, their perpetrators were identified and met by management.
Eight schools in Montreal are currently under investigation by the SPVM for anonymous threats. Six people aged between 13 and 17 were also arrested.
