Zikala is the mother of twins. Since their birth, she has been sleeping in a hotel. Having no papers, she cannot claim social housing. But thanks to the La Marmite association, Zikala has access to a shower, meals and essentials for his daily life. “I am also given milk, because we do not have the means to pay for the milk and no means to pay for the diapers“, she explains.
Many mothers go to La Marmite. It is also a way to give a little comfort and space to their children, to allow them to play and to share moments of joy with other children in the same situation.
