(Montreal) The new boss of Hydro-Quebec, Michael Sabia, will receive an annual salary of $639,000, not including performance bonuses.
The information was published in a decree from the Legault government. The decree specifies that Mr. Sabia’s variable compensation may not exceed 50% of his base compensation.
Mr. Sabia’s severance pay may not exceed the equivalent of 12 months of his basic annual salary, prorated to the number of months worked in the year.
