Astros employee finds World Series ring he lost at stadium

The story could have been very costly financially and emotionally for a longtime Houston Astros worker who misplaced his ring commemorating the World Series won by the team last year.

The employee in question – whose last name is Munoz – can thank a friend of his son, Janie Arredondo, who launched a wanted notice on social networks. She said Sunday that the man working at Minute Maid Park for 23 years had lost the precious object during a shift, during the visit of the Cincinnati Reds. The loss was discovered about 20 minutes after he removed the ring from his fingers to clean his hands and then received a service call.

“His Father’s Day was ruined,” wrote Arredondo on his Facebook account.

Fortunately for the principal concerned, a charitable soul came forward later, to the delight of the woman who issued an SOS

“There are still good people in this world, Houston to be exact!, she said, accompanying the update of her message with a photo of the famous jewel. Thanks to the many shares, someone answered.

Within major league baseball championship-winning organizations, players, members of management, coaches, and employees are eligible to receive a ring; everything is at the discretion of the formation concerned. On some specialized sales sites, the value of those granted to the Astros for their 2022 title is at least US$499 and can reach several thousand dollars, or even at least fifteen.
