In several villages in Deux-Sèvres and Charente-Maritime, the walls are collapsing or cracking. One minor injury
An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 to 5.8, according to the various readings, and which was felt from Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) to Bordeaux (Gironde). The epicenter is in Sainte-Gemme, in Charente-Maritime. The anguish of the earthquake gives way to worry about the fate of the house.
