(Montreal) A man in his fifties was found dead Sunday evening in an apartment in the borough of Lachine, in Montreal.
Several citizens contacted 911 around 8 p.m. regarding a person found on the ground in an apartment on Boulevard Saint-Joseph, near Rue Sainte-Marie.
Once there, the police located the victim on the ground. Her body bore marks of violence.
“Resuscitation maneuvers were attempted without success. The victim’s death is unfortunately observed on the scene, ”said agent Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
An investigation is underway to shed light on the circumstances of this event. Several hypotheses are analyzed, indicated Mme Comtois.
