France Télévisions will co-broadcast 2023 Women’s World Cup matches this summer

While France Télévisions and M6 had announced on Tuesday the acquisition of the broadcasting rights for the matches of the French women’s football team until 2027, the two groups confirmed on Wednesday June 14 that they will also broadcast the 2023 Women’s World Cup, to be held from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. France Télévisions will thus be able to broadcast half of the matches of the World Cup while negotiations with the M6 ​​group are still in progress concerning the distribution of the prizes for the matches, including those of the France team.

Agreements with public television in several European countries
