Serbia stands out in the European landscape. It is the only one of the 27 to have refused to impose wartime sanctions on Russia and its population overwhelmingly supports Russian military advances in Ukraine. We dissect this relationship with astonishing exteriors which is rooted in cultural affinities, but also in resentment towards the West, 25 years after the bombings which left deep scars in Belgrade.
