Two suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with the shooting death of a 61-year-old man.
The suspects, aged 53 and 67, are due to appear Friday evening at the Montreal courthouse to be charged with first degree murder, the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) said.
The facts occurred on the morning of June 3, in a residential building on rue Sainte-Catherine Est, in the borough of Ville-Marie. The victim was then fatally shot and his death was pronounced on the spot.
It was the 11e homicide of the year 2023 in Montreal.
