The Head of State went to the bedside of the victims in Grenoble and Annecy on Friday June 9.
Emmanuel Macron went to the bedside of the victims of the knife attack that occurred Thursday in Annecy (Haute-Savoie). The president went to the Grenoble University Hospital and to the Annecy hospital on Friday June 9. The Head of State then declared that the news concerning the state of health of the four injured children was “positive”. “Everything that was said to me is going in the right direction”he said to a firefighter.
Emmanuel Macron notably mentioned the case of a young Briton, who is now “awakened”. “She watches TV and it’s already a bad memory. And so the doctors were very confident”he specified. Re “the little Dutch girl, who is in Geneva, is better”, he added. Ihe Dutch Foreign Minister confirmed that the girl was “out of danger”. As for the most seriously injured adult, “he’s awake too”detailed the Head of State.
Emmanuel Macron also thanked and congratulated the caregivers, the police, the members of the authorities as well as all the people who intervened during the tragedy, including the famous Henri, “the man with the backpack” who tried to stop the suspect. “I am very proud of you”he threw at them. “Attacking children is the most barbaric act there is”he also denounced.
