Hervé Poirier and Mathilde Fontez, at the head ofEpsiloon, risked paying more than a million euros to Reworld Media, which had brought two lawsuits against them: one for unfair competition, the other for defamation. In the end, justice has just dismissed the group that owns Grace, Top Health, Biba or Science and Life. It was former journalists from the latter title who created Epsiloon in 2021, after leaving Science and Life by denouncing the managerial and journalistic methods of the new publisher.

Two years later, Epsiloon is on the road to profitability and has 35,000 subscribers. The monthly is launching a crowdfunding campaign on the Ulule platform to develop new projects. “We have passed the mortality phase of magazines”rejoices Hervé Poirier, one of the editors-in-chief of the magazine, media guest of Célyne Baÿt-Darcourt.
