No fatalities, but 13 injured. Juan and his girlfriend Océane are among the victims. “I saw the car and afterwards I didn’t try to look. I tried to run, I turned around and it was too late”, she recalls. This Wednesday, June 7, the driver was sentenced to three years in prison, including one firm. His license was also canceled and his car confiscated.

The number of rodeos has tripled in one year

The victims’ lawyer feared that justice would reproach his clients for having been present to his clients. Like that Friday, young people often gather in the car parks of shopping centers with their cars, often standard, but which they tinker with, equip and decorate. On the one hand, there is the beauty of passion. On the other, urban rodeos that can end badly. The police are not there, yet everyone is aware of the risks. In one year, the number of these gatherings has tripled throughout France.
