“Several difficulties for these evacuations”
“There are several difficulties for these evacuations. First of all, it must be remembered that the city remains the target of Russian artillery fire. The city remains at the heart of the fighting. We witnessed it on Tuesday. Another difficulty: if Kherson is practically empty of its inhabitants, those who remain do not want to leave”continues the journalist. “The authorities are urging those who remain to leave their homes as soon as possible, because the water continues to rise. On Tuesday, around 1,500 people were evacuated.”concludes the journalist.
