In November 2022, a huge scandal broke out in the world of French football. While leaving a meal with her PSG team, the famous football player Kheira Hamraoui was violently attacked by several men when getting into her vehicle. After several weeks, the investigation finally revealed that the 33-year-old sportswoman was the mistress of Éric Abidal, a former player for the France team who became a coach in Spain.
Overwhelmed, Éric Abidal then confessed to having been unfaithful to his wife… but denied being involved in the assault of his former mistress. In the process, Ayet Abidal, the wife of Éric Abidal had made revelations about Kheira who has been her friend in the past: “I knew Kheira Hamraoui when she arrived as a player in Barcelona in 2018 […] We became friends […] I helped her fit in […]. Attacked on social networks for her status as a mistress and couple breaker, Kheira Hamraoui also had to face some complications within her football club. A falling out with one of her teammates having also been revealed, the young woman had ended up being put aside by all her other comrades.

Almost a year after the scandal, Kheira Hamraoui has to face a new blow: the footballer has not been selected to participate in the Women’s World Cup to be held from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and in New Zealand. A few days ago, Kheira Hamraoui also announced his departure from PSG and his desire to continue to practice outside France.
