The journalist Samuel Ollivier, present on the set of 8 Hours, Monday June 5, returns to “two edifying examples of what human stupidity can be applied to sport”. Thus, in the 23rd minute of the match between Bordeaux (Gironde) and Rodez (Aveyron), a Bordeaux supporter entered the edge of the lawn to jostle a Rodez player who had opened the scoring. The player fell, and the match did not resume.
Eight-year-old boy attacked by Corsican fans
During the match between OM and Ajaccio (Corse-du-Sud), Kenzo, an eight-year-old boy who suffers from terminal brain cancer which has caused him to gradually lose his sight, was attacked by Corsican supporters. “Sport is only a reflection of the society in which we live. Violence is everywhere. (…) Why should sport be exempt?”launches Samuel Ollivier.
