The 19/20 teams met with high school students who discovered their Parcoursup results, Thursday, June 1. For Xavier, it’s a cold shower. “In fact, there are all the STAPS waiting. I didn’t think the stress would rise so much. It’s my future that’s at stake”, indicates the young man who had expressed the wish to register for a sports license at the university. In contrast, Nisrine is much more relaxed. She is hopeful of joining a preparatory class to make films. “I have eleven wishes pending and seven that have been validated”explains the schoolgirl.
Tough competition
Parents hold their breath too. Chabi, the computer enthusiast, thought of directly entering an engineering school. Unfortunately for him, it failed. Her mother does not hide her disappointment. “So for me, it’s unreadable. For me, it’s completely incomprehensible”, she gets annoyed. As a reminder, Parcoursup is a national selection platform. Competition is fierce and places are expensive. Marlow, another high school student, is on a little cloud. He was admitted to a business school in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme).
