A sign of hope for the opposition
In his speech, delivered in Ankara, the unstoppable president calls for unity. “No one lost today. 85 million people won”, he shouted. In the opposition camp, activists blame the blow. However, Kemal Kiliçdaroglu, the defeated candidate, sees in his score a sign of hope. The one that “the will of the people to change this authoritarian regime is clear, despite all the pressure”. The fight against the economic crisis will be one of the main challenges of the re-elected president.
