Danish social services handed over little Eya to her mother on Saturday, May 27, France Télévisions learned from the French embassy in Denmark. The 10-year-old girl was abducted Thursday morning outside her school and found the next day in Denmark. From then on, she was entrusted to the Danish social services, pending the arrival of her mother. These “reunions [ont été] moving and discreet”said the embassy to France Télévisions.

His father and his accomplice, the suspects in this case, have both been arrested. European arrest warrants had been issued against the two men, because the authorities were convinced that they had managed to reach abroad with the child.
