its fight against harassment and discrimination

Harassed in the past, in schools, Jérémy Bellet has decided to get involved with his “Respect For All” campaign, so that no child experiences these dramatic situations of harassment and discrimination.

Originally from Blois, Jérémy studied in Tours, before becoming a model (among others for the couturier Jean-Claude Jitrois), and director. We owe him, among other things, the short film “One Last Breath“, with Fiona gelin and Pascal Soetens said “The big brother”, the film denounces all forms of discrimination. It was on this occasion that the young man was also decorated with the Arts and Culture medal for his short film.

Since then, far from remaining inactive, Jérémy has carried his personal initiative called “Respect for All” high. A national intervention campaign in elementary schools and colleges, in which the actor is personally involved, with the objectives of freeing up speech and preventing harassment. Preventing, raising awareness, as early as possible, in order to deal better with it, these are the objectives of this campaign against bullying at school, which often continues on social networks.

A work that also concerns adults, who must learn, according to the young man, to better welcome, better listen, and put words into harassment.

And often, during his interventions, Jérémy is confronted with young children who have already been subjected to situations of bullying.

The young man received the support of the Elysee Palace, but regrets that many politicians have not yet taken a stand. He still has not received an answer, for example, from the mayor of Paris (and presidential candidate) Anne Hidalgo.

Recently, Jérémy worked in the Bas Rivière primary school in Blois. He observed that 4 students from this school had to change schools following harassment situations, and deplores that it is these victimized students who must change establishment to put an end to the harassment.

Very involved in the associative environment, Jérémy Bellet organizes this Saturday December 11 a Gala evening aboard the yacht “Joséphine”, a gala evening for the benefit of the association “Séréopotes”, which fights against all forms of serophobia, discrimination linked to HIV status.
