A year and a half after the tragic death of 27 migrants in the Channel, five soldiers from Cross, the surveillance center in Pas-de-Calais, were indicted on Thursday, May 25, for failure to assist a person in danger. They are suspected of not having responded to the fifteen calls for help.

Three women and two men who at the material time were working in a surveillance and rescue center in Pas-de-Calais. They are suspected of not having sent a rescue team despite numerous calls for help.

Many Iraqi Kurds among the victims
