The sign of the Archambault store located since 1930 at the corner of Berri and Sainte-Catherine Est, in Montreal, was removed on Wednesday morning.
According to Quebecor, the sign must be temporarily removed in order to restore its lighting system.

The oldest Archambault Group store will close in June.
The imposing sign was first removed in 2018, then reinstalled a year later.
